This year has been quite a rollercoster!
accomplishments
Here are just a few exciting things we have been able to do this year
free cpr/first aid certification
We asked that the District to offer free CPR/First Aid classes for those that require a renewal - they were able to agree using one-time COVID funds
probation adjustment
We were able to inquire and get confirmation that the probation period has been changed from 1 year to 6 months
Salary increase
We secured an increase on the salary schedule effective July 1, 2022 of 9.273%
off schedule payment
We negotiated that the District compensate our classified employees a one time off schedule payment of $1,156 per FTE
meeting facilitation
We were able to facilitate meetings with Instructional Aides and Nutrition Service Staff with Administrators to address concerns and help resolve issues
Union room remodel
With COVID restrictions lifted, we wanted to be sure you had a clean and comfortable environment to return to our in-person meetings. We deep cleaned every surface and painted too!
Classified Appreciation
During Classified Appreciation Week, the board put together and delivered gift bags to all our members as a special thank you for all you do! We appreciate you!!
